Jammin’ Needles

Needles joined JRD during the Spring 2019 Fresh Meat program. She’d only been on skates four times before she started, but she was inspired by old friends. Her life led her to starting over right as she began to skate. This was just one step in her transformation. Jammin’ Needles is her derby name because her last name is Needles (yes, legally and born that way!) and she’s Jamaican so, SHE BE JAMMIN’.
