I joined JRD at the beginning of 2019. I have been playing derby for four years though. I started out with South Shore Roller Girls out of Northwest Indiana. My old derby name was Unnatural Selection and I was a biology student at the time so it seemed fitting. This season since I have a new team I wanted a new name, SAVotage, and it’s just a play on my name. I changed my number to 219 to represent being a region rat.
When I’m not playing roller derby I’m working or chillen with my husband. I’m a surgical vet tech and a licensed cosmetologist. Saving animals and slinging hair and makeup are my passions. I’m constantly fostering and or rehabbing animals anywhere from domestic species to wildlife. I started to dabble in photography to take up what little time I have left. I used to work in the haunt industry doing special FX makeup and cosplaying at conventions and haunted houses. I’m rather boring to be honest but if you wanna talk about Animals, derby, or nerdy things I’m yah gal.
