What does your derby name mean to you: I love movies and there is a quote from one of my favorite movies that involves my derby name. JRG named me “Most likely to live up to her derby name” in 2012.
Favorite Position: Pivot…and owner of Red Reed custom roller derby gear bags.

How you found out about roller derby: I went to the Jacksonville RollerGirls first game and then went to the after party where I was asked if I wanted to join…….YES PLEASE!
Favorite derby moment during a bout: I hit and lifted a New Orleans skater off the ground and into a referee! My favorite part of EVERY bout is when my team huddles together, puts our hands in the center and yells “Duuuuval!”, then the crowd goes crazy!
Favorite bout you played in: New Jax City Roller’s first win against Tallahassee. Everyone loved that game.
What are your favorite skates: Vanilla Brass Knuckles Boot (because I got to have some input in the design concept) with a Proline Labeda plate.
What are your favorite wheels: BackSpin Deluxe. Great for every skating surface!
What are your favorite bearings: Cheeseball Swiss.
What does roller derby mean to you: Changed my life. In roller derby I have found a great group of people who share a common goal of bringing the sport of roller derby to the Jacksonville community in a positive and professional manner. I have made lifetime friends and memories. I have become a better athlete than I could have ever imagined for myself. I have seen this sport blossom over the years and bring forth strong, self confident women. It makes me proud to be a part of a professional sport that also gives back to the community.
What should your opponent know about you before a bout: I am the definition of devious. You will not know or expect what will happen next. You may think “she doesn’t hit that hard” and then the next jam you may think “pretty stars, pretty stars…..”
What should your fans know about you: Without you, this sport would not be, and for that…I will shake my booty for you! I <3 Duval!
